Meherun Nesa Shraboni

PhD in Computer Science|Graduate Research Assistant

Meherun Nesa Shraboni is a PhD student and Research Assistant at the Emerging Analytics Center (EAC) at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Originally from Bangladesh, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) in 2022. Passionate about immersive technologies and artificial intelligence, she is now pursuing her PhD focusing on machine learning applications in virtual reality (VR) and eye-tracking research.

Since joining the EAC, Meherun has been deeply involved in projects that combine VR simulations with real-time data analytics, especially focusing on human-computer interaction. She works on developing eye movement classification models, designing interactive VR environments, and visualizing complex data to enhance user experience and research insights.

Beyond technical development, she enjoys mentoring students and collaborating on interdisciplinary research. Her experience with Unity game engine, machine learning pipelines, and software development plays a vital role in supporting the EAC’s mission to innovate in the field of immersive analytics and extended reality.
