Huge Success at the 11th Annual Arkansas STEM Festival in Fayetteville!

Students learned about EAC’s Snapchat Collection and AR applications, like AR Spook Splat.

Energy in Fayetteville was electric this year as students, families, and science lovers from all over the state poured into the Union Center of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville for the 11th Annual Arkansas STEM Festival. Hosted by LISA Academy the festival was a beautiful mixture of curiosity, creativity, and contemporary technology where students and staff of the EAC showcased their latest projects.

Nestled among the other hands-on exploration stations, EAC’s booth quickly became a hotspot of excitement and discovery. Equipped with tablets and a sense of adventure, students eagerly crowded around the stations to explore our AR experiences: Maximus AR, Spook Splat AR, Insects AR, and the immersive Crime Scene 360. These interactive applications served as gateways into deeper engagement with science, storytelling, and powerful immersive learning approaches.

Kids were excited to experience new technologies; there were so many bright eyes full of questions. The real highlight of the festival was watching students explain what they were experiencing to their friends and helping others to explore. That’s what the Arkansas STEM Festival is all about, sharing knowledge, building confidence, and igniting a love for STEM in real time.

It didn’t stop at the apps! Our EAC Snapchat Collection added an extra layer of connection, showcasing behind-the-scenes moments and giving our visitors a glimpse of what happens when creativity and technology collide. It wasn’t just about demonstrating tools; it was about creating a memorable experience.

All in all, the day was a huge success. Students and staff of the EAC walked away with tired feet, full hearts, and a renewed excitement for the future of STEM in Arkansas. Seeing highschool students light up while interacting with our work reminded us why we do what we do and we can’t wait to be back next year!
