The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Cybersecurity Team and the Emerging Analytics Center (EAC) traveled to the University of Arkansas Hope – Texarkana (UAHT) on February 2, 2024, to promote the GenCyber Initiative. As a partner in the Arkansas CyberLearn network, UAHT was eager to facilitate this event, showcasing the collaboration and shared goals of GenCyber, CyberLearn, and the EAC. The roadshow featured virtual reality and augmented reality (VR/AR) applications that have been developed in the last few years such as Cyber Arena Escape Room, Trail of Tear 360 Tour, CrimeScene 360, Anatomical Eyes, and Maximus AR. Attendees were able to talk directly with many of the developers that worked on the applications being demonstrated. The roadshow highlighted to attendees potential impact VR/AR applications could have across various industries, from education and healthcare to cybersecurity and law enforcement.
