
On Tuesday, March 4th, 2025, Bryant Middle School will be hosting its highly anticipated Science Family Night, an engaging evening dedicated to STEM exploration. Running from 5:00pm to 7:30pm, the event will bring together students grades 5 through 7, families, and educators for an interactive experience filled with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The Emerging Analytics Center (EAC) is excited to be a part of this innovative and educational event. We will present hands-on experiences with augmented-reality (AR) technology through three of our unique projects: Maximus AR, Spook Splat AR, and Insects AR. Our interactive tools will provide students with the opportunity to interact with virtual characters, making learning both engaging and immersive.
What to Expect at the EAC Booth
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience our interactive AR developments firsthand. The setup will include:
- Maximus AR – Students can pose with UA Little Rock’s mascot Maximus!
- Spook Splat AR – A spooky yet entertaining interactive game bringing AR ghosts to life.
- Insects AR – An educational tool allowing students to visualize and to learn about various insects through AR technology.
Science Family Night @ Bryant Middle School will be a fun and interactive evening filled with opportunities to explore new technology. Attendees will have hands-on experiences with innovative tools bringing STEM learning to life. The EAC is proud to contribute and is looking forward to sparking curiosity and excitement in our next generation of STEM leaders.
