UA Little Rock Professor conferred IEEE Senior Member status

Dr. Aryabrata Basu, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and a research fellow at the Emerging Analytics Center, has been conferred the status of IEEE Senior Member. This is a significant achievement and recognition of Dr. Basu’s computer science and technology contributions. The IEEE Senior Membership is conferred upon members with demonstrated professional maturity and technical experience and is recognized globally as an honor in the profession. Dr. Basu’s research has focused on emerging technologies, such as data analytics, visualization, and virtual reality, to improve human-computer interaction and advance the field of computer science. As a Senior Member of IEEE, Dr. Basu will have the opportunity to collaborate and network with other senior members in the field, further advancing his research and contributing to the community.
